As a vanguard of Honda’s subcompact category, the Fit has been refreshed with specific goals to keep it ahead of the competition:

More youthful and emotional styling to enhance Fit’s sporty character.
The addition of Honda Sensing® technology, adding safety and driver assistive systems to Honda’s already class-leading subcompact.
Add to Fit’s best-in-class space, refinement, practicality, fuel efficiency and affordability with new features not seen in this category.
Let’s have a closer look at how they’ve managed to make a good thing even better.

Fit_Interior_500The all-new 2018 Fit Sport is on the scene bringing heaps of fresh styling and confident attitude by way of a bold aero-form front spoiler and rear diffuser, bright orange pin-striping, 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels with gloss-black finish, chrome exhaust-pipe finisher and side sill garnishes.

The cabin has been similarly refreshed with a black interior and orange contrast stitching. A wild new color known as Orange Fury is the standout of an expanded selection that includes White Orchid Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, Milano Red and Aegean Blue Metallic.

“With sporty new styling and additional feature content, the 2018 Honda Fit ups the ante with new styling and sophistication not typically found in the subcompact segment,” said Jean Marc Leclerc, Senior Vice-President Sales and Marketing, Honda Canada Inc. “Fit has always represented a great value for subcompact customers and the addition of available Honda Sensing® to its fun-to-drive performance and unmatched versatility will keep the Honda Fit as the industry’s benchmark subcompact.”

The 2018 Fit is equipped with a 1.5L DOHC direct-injected 4-cylinder i-VTEC™ engine with Variable Cam Timing (VTC) delivering up to 130 horsepower @ 6,800 rpm and up to 114 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,600 rpm (both SAE net). The Fit’s best-in-class driving dynamics are even better for 2018 with retuned suspension dampers, a more rigid steering system, and additional body reinforcements.

Fit_Interior_2_500In addition to improved dynamic improvements, 2018 Fit drivers can also enjoy increased cabin quietness, improved transmission, and steering system mounting hardware, and the addition of acoustic-laminated glass and more insulation throughout the vehicle. In short, it a lot quieter than cars in the class are famous for.

A new vibrant color – Orange Fury – is part of an expanded color pallet also including White Orchid Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, Milano Red and Aegean Blue Metallic.
