In fact, the Civic has been Canada’s best-selling passenger car for an incredible twenty-three years. It’s additionally among the most reliable, fun to drive and safest vehicles on the road.

And, it’s built in Alliston Ontario, significantly contributing to our provincial economy!

This further reinforces a decades-long relationship between one of the most popular brands and vehicles and a country that has embraced it from its humble beginnings, dating back to 1973, when the Civic was first launched here in Canada.

The new design focuses on a modern expression of Honda’s human-centered design philosophy. From the all-new clean and efficient exterior design, to the high-tech, well-appointed cabin, the 2022 Civic sedan is ready to fit in to every aspect of your lifestyle.

With the introduction of this all-new design, we are pleased to take you through some of the Civic sedan’s updated design, suite of available technology, performance capabilities, as well as the multiple safety features this new vehicle has to offer.

The 2022 Civic Sedan models are offered in a total of four available trim levels: The Civic Sedan LX, EX Sport and Touring models.

Now let’s explore the Civic’s suite of technological features. First up, all 2022 Civics come standard with an expanded Honda Sensing suite of driver-assistive and safety technology that adds Blind Spot information system, Traffic Jam Assist as well as a more natural feeling Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS).

• Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow: Standard on all models
• Blind Spot Information System (BSI): Standard on all models
• Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS): Standard on all models
• Traffic Jam Assist: Standard on all models
• Rear Cross Traffic Monitor System: Available exclusively on Touring Model
• Low-speed braking control: Available exclusively on Touring Model

A Multi-angle rearview camera with dynamic guidelines help you easily maneuver into the tightest parking spaces. This is standard equipment on all Civic sedan models for 2022.

Also standard on all models is a Proximity key entry system with pushbutton start for entry with maximum ease and zero hassle.

Features such as heated steering wheels and dual zone climate control were made for the Canadian environment, and this new generation of the Civic comes prepared. The Civic EX, Sport and Touring all include those features to keep you comfortable when the mercury drops. A power sliding moonroof comfortably lets the outside in with one simple touch.

Last, but certainly not least:

• 7” colour TFT centre meter display with Driver Information Interface with LX, EX & Sport models
• 9” colour touchscreen display, plus a 10.2” TFT full digital driver meter display along with wireless smartphone charging with the Touring model

Performance Improvements Everywhere

With a 2.0 litre 16-valve DOHC i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine for the LX, EX and Sport Models, or the 1.5-litre Direct Injection DOHC Turbo charged 4-cylinder engine for the Touring model. Output is respectively 158 HP, and 180HP

Available with standard 16” wheels, or 18” wheels, available with the Sport or Touring trim-levels.
The Sport model abounds with high performance bespoke 18” sport wheels with low profile tires to increase handling and precise cornering.

Sport-specific seats keep you snug during spirited drives and paddle shifters, sport pedals and a new Sport mode increase the fun-factor!

The Touring model adds a first for the Civic, the implementation of Low-Speed Braking Control.
