Licensed Technicians

 

We are currently seeking Licensed Technicians for our busy flat rate shop. We Offer:

Valid 310S Technicians License.

Valid Class G Driver's License.

Able to drive manual transmission.

Previous Honda experience an asset but not necessary. Good attitude and a passion to produce.

Parts Specifier

We are currently looking for a full time parts specifier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a few years of experience within a Honda or import dealer although all potential prospects will be considered and are willing to train the right candidate. CDK/ADP knowledge is a plus.

A positive attitude with the ability to work as a team as well as a clean valid driver's license is a must as occasional driving duties may be required.

Job duties include receiving daily orders, bin counts, and ensuring proper handling of parts within the department. Knowledge of tire sales is a definite asset as well.

A positive and pleasant attitude while dealing with all of our clients whether retail, wholesale or internal is mandatory.

The selected candidate can also look forward to various Honda and tire training programs to assist them in their goals.

Service Technician 

This position is responsible for performing general vehicle repair and maintenance functions in order to ensure vehicles run efficiently. We can provide an exciting and rewarding career working with a well-established, growing company.  The ideal candidate will have a responsible attitude with a methodical and thorough approach to problem solving and diagnostics. Technicians will be motivated with the ability to work efficiently and with an understanding of the latest technology. Service Advisor

Very busy Honda dealer requires self motivated individuals for our service team.

- Must be able to work well within a team as well as on their own.
- The right individual will receive an hourly wage.

- Valid Ontario Drivers Licence required. Manual transmission experience is an asset
- You will be responsible for greeting our customers in our service drive thru

Apprentice Service Technician 

Procedure

  • Each repair order: customer, internal or warranty must have the following comments:
  • Complaint
  • Customers concern provided by Service Consultant at the time of write up
  • Cause of the concern
  • Correction and additional comments
  • Documentation – justification of part replacement and repairs made
  • All odometer readings after service performed indicated on work orders

Technician’s Performance

  • Maintain Fixed First Visit CSI scores of that, equal to or greater than Honda Central Zone
  • Maintain high level of customer satisfaction
  • Achieve and/or surpass industry standards in Efficiency levels of 115%, Productivity level of 90% and Proficiency level of $120%

Policy& Safety

  • Follow all Ontario Privacy Act Procedures (PIPIDA)
  • No work will be performed without an open Repair Order
  • Each repair order must be time punched for all repairs. Punch “ON” & “OFF” must be on each service work order line
  • All parts replaced on customer vehicles, must be available for returning to the customer, as prescribed by Canadian Law
  • Failure to comply will result in chargebacks of all non-available parts
  • All parts used to repair vehicles for warranty, will be returned to the Parts Department.
  • Failure to comply will result in chargebacks of both Parts and Labour
  • Use all dealership equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications, thus providing a better quality service/repair for the customer and minimal equipment downtime.
  • All non-operational equipment must be immediately brought to the attention of the Service Management and/or Shop Foreman
  • Ensure all Warranty Policies and Procedures are followed at all times
  • Ensure Honda recommended Maintenance Schedule are fully understood and followed at all times
  • Ensure all Richmond Hill Honda Safety Policies and Procedures are followed at all times
  • Perform daily and weekly hoist safety inspection and document in log
  • Each Technician is responsible for his/her own CSA approved eye and foot protection which must be worn at all times

Housekeep

  • Wash bays and hoist that you used that day
  • Wipe down kick panel with stainless cleaner
  • Wipe down front of work stations
  • Remove all objects from countertops
  • Wipe down all hoists and lubricate
  • Personal appearance is very important. Uniforms are to be worn daily with shirts tucked in.

Lube Technician 

  • Wash bays and hoist that you used that day.
  • Wipe down all hoists and lubricate.
  • Make sure that all vehicles cleaned from finger prints, grease, oil or any marks that may be created during work performed.
  • Clean and tidy tool room daily.
  • Empty all shop garbage daily.
  • Clean shop daily as instructed by Shop Foreman or Service Manager.
  • Perform multi-point inspection and fill out required forms on every vehicle.
  • Advise service Consultant of any additional work required.
  • Maintain high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Keep yourself up to date and current with Honda Bulletins and Recalls.
  • Keep all E-learning up to date and current while maintaining a minimum level of bronze.
  • Keep work area clean and tidy at all times.
  • Perform safety inspections on hoist daily and fill out safety check list accordingly.
  • Report any broken or malfunctioning shop equipment immediately to management.
  • Wear company supplied uniform at all times.
  • Ensure all Honda Canada Warranty Policies and Procedures are followed at all times.
  • Ensure Honda recommended Maintenance Schedule are fully understood and followed.
  • Ensure all Richmond Hill Honda company policies and procedures are understood and followed at all times.
  • Ensure all Richmond Hill Honda safety policies and procedures are followed at all times.
